MSc Biochemistry & Molecular Biology

Students of this Master program may pick biophysics courses as part of their supplementary courses. Since the introductory courses in biophysics are only teached during the Wintersemester, we encourage you to take biophysics in your first semester already.

Molecular Biophysics class 3 SWS	Chemical equilibrium chemical potential diffusion colloidal forces structure of proteins kinetics of enzymes (Michalis Menton, allsoterically contzrolled enzymes, motor enzymes) polymers
Tutorial Biophysical Chemsitry Exercise 1 SWS more information	The physics background of the material of "Introduction to Biophysics" is repeated. Examples will be calculated. Problems and questions can be discussed
Seminar in Biophysics seminar 2 SWS	Current topics in biophysics will be presented by students
Labcourse Lab 4 SWS	Fluorescence spectroscopy, AFM, light microscopy, streaming potential
