The path to climate neutrality

The university must become climate-neutral as soon as possible, but by 2038 at the latest.

There is a climate protection policy from 2015 that lists several measures to reduce emissions, and work is being done on emissions monitoring as part of the climate protection management. The "Beratungskreis Nachhaltiger Campusbetrieb" (BNC) is working on a draft for a climate neutrality strategy.

Environmental Reporting

As part of the university's EMAS-certified environmental management system, various information is collected as well as projects implemented to reduce the university's carbon emissions. Current information on this can be found in the annual environmental statements.
