In this field of work, the control of process plants is optimised, especially with regard to efficiency and energy saving. For this purpose, all methods of control theory are investigated and used and, if necessary, further developed for the application. The primary goal, however, is not to put forward new theories, but to develop simple, robust and practical solutions.
