Olga Masyutina and Michael Rochlitz participated in the Eurasian Political Economy Workshop at the Midwest Political Science Association Conference in Chicago on April 7-8, 2022. The workshop was organized by Guzel Garifullina (University of Rochester) and featured presentations by researchers focusing on Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia. Olga presented her co-authored paper “Authoritarian durability, prospects of change and individual behavior: Evidence from a survey experiment in Russia” while Michael presented the results of his paper on “Persuasion or Polarization? Independent Online Media and Elections in an Informational Autocracy”.
