Online talk series to mark the 50th anniversary of the University of Bremen

In 2021 the University of Bremen turns 50 — 50 years of equipping people with knowledge, influencing destinies and writing history, whether in Namibia, in space flight or in climate protection. 50 years of demonstrating a commitment and an exceptional spirit that have been associated with Bremen’s reform university from the very beginning: the audacity to want to change the world, the earnestness to acquire the knowledge needed to do so, and the intrepidness to see it through.

To mark this achievement, the University of Bremen and the Alumni Association invite you to join us online for an exciting talk series. We’ve put together a diverse line-up of committed alumni and guests representing business, science and civil society perspectives. On the table for discussion: how our university is shaping the major issues of our time.

The talks will be live streamed from Radio Bremen’s television studio and moderated by the Uni Bremen alumna and well-known Radio Bremen journalist Katrin Krämer. All talks will be simultaneously translated into English.
