Priv.-Doz. Dr. Annette Kolb

After many years of active research and teaching at the University of Bremen, I now work as research administrator at the City University of Applied Sciences in Bremen. As a private lecturer (Privatdozentin) I am still associated with the University of Bremen.

My main research interests at the University of Bremen included:

  • Impact of global and local environmental change on the ecology and evolution of plants
  • Plant-animal interactions (pollination, herbivory, seed predation)
  • Forest biodiversity and forest ecosystem services

I taught courses both in the biology bachelor degree program (e.g. Formenkenntnis Pflanzen, Grundkurs Ökologie, Berufsfelder in den Biowissenschaften) and in the ecology master degree program (e.g. Population Ecology, Concepts of Ecology).
