Study Advisory Service with Appointment
If you can arrange it, take advantage of our open office hours! You can simply drop by without an appointment: Mondays and Thursdays between 10 am and 1 pm and Tuesdays between 1 pm and 3 pm at the VWG.
Academic Advising with appointment
The Central Student Advising Office is your first point of contact for any questions related to your studies. Whether you have questions about our academic programs, need guidance on choosing a major, or are facing challenges during your studies—you’ve come to the right place. If you’re unsure who to contact with your concerns, we’ll be happy to help you find the right person to speak with.
Current dates for online counseling (Tuesdays 1–3 p.m.) can be found on the German version of this page; additional dates are available upon request. Each session lasts a maximum of 30 minutes. Counseling is confidential and free of charge. Every Thursday at 9 am, the dates for the following Tuesday are posted there.
To register, please click on your desired appointment ("Anmeldung") on the German version of this page. The confirmation email contains a participation and cancellation link. Please ensure you enter your email address correctly when registering; otherwise, the confirmation email cannot be delivered. Please be sure to cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend.
If there is no registration button for an appointment, the appointment is already booked. Unfortunately, both the registration form and the confirmation by mail are only sent in German due to technical conditions.
Attention: New appointments are always released on Thursdays, 9 am, for the following week.
