As a Data Scientist, she bridges humanities research with digital methods—whether implementing Digital Humanities projects, developing computational approaches for qualitative research, or managing sensitive data in compliance with FAIR principles. Her focus lies at the intersection of technology and humanities practice. Additionally, she specializes in prompt engineering for language models in academic applications and critically examines the ethical and societal implications of AI.

At the DSC, as part of the BMFTR-funded DataNord project, Nele Fuchs connects and advises humanities researchers, offering training to enhance data literacy in the (digital) humanities.
