Under the project title "What is biostatistics? We conduct a study", the schoolgirls independently planned, conducted and evaluated a study on the influence of caffeine consumption on heart rate under the guidance of Dr. Martin Scharpenberg, Amina Spano, Jale Brune and Johanna zur Verth. KKSB employees served as study participants. The students carried out their project with great commitment and were thus able to gain an insight into the professional life of biostatisticians and medical documentalists.
