Becoming a mentor

© Harald Rehling
- You are interested in getting to know highly motivated young professionals on an exclusive basis
- It is important for you and your company to be in direct contact with the younger generation and to shape the future together
- You would like to support and accompany a young person in planning their career
- You have several years of professional and management experience
- You can spare an average of two hours every four to six weeks during the ten-month program period (September to June) for a meeting with your mentee
- Your participation in the supporting program (opening & closing ceremony, networking events) is desirable
- Please complete the application form in full. Your details will help us to find a suitable mentee for you
- Mentors can apply all year round
- From April to July, the tandems for the round starting in September are put together (matching)
- As soon as we have found a suitable mentee for you, you will receive the candidate's application documents
- We will then arrange an appointment for a non-binding introductory meeting. The interview lasts approximately one hour
- If both partners agree after the interview, the tandem starts
- Opening Ceremony: 28.08.2025 from 18-21 o'clock in the SFG building room 0140 & 0150
Our mentees are students in the final phase of their M.A. or B.A. studies, graduates and doctoral candidates from all faculties at the University of Bremen.
