We are very happy to welcome you to the University of Bremen and to the Uni-Start Portal! The Uni-Start-Portal is especially designed for first-year students and is intended to help you find your way around the University during the introductory phase.

The University on Social Media
The University of Bremen is present on many online channels. Especially for students, there is a instagram channel, where information and event notices for students are shared.
The university also provides information about the start of the semester via the WhatsApp channel Uni Bremen Studienstart WiSe 25/26 and on Mastodon: University of Bremen (@unibremen@wisskomm.social) Wissenschaft trötet (only available in German) under the hashtag #UniBremenErstis.
In the Blog "Euer UniLeben EULe" ("Your Uni Life" - only available in German) students report about their everyday life as students, about events and offer useful tips.
