WHY do people donate money for academia and research through the University of Bremen Foundation?
HERE’S WHY – Bremen’s benefactors make a financial commitment in order to support young people who do research on the great questions facing humanity. These people can be found at the University of Bremen. They help to respond to the challenges of our time and find solutions for problems. The motivation for becoming involved in the foundation is as diverse as the benefactors themselves are. However, there is one thing linking all of them: a belief that knowledge makes the world move.

HERE’S WHY – The University of Bremen Foundation wishes to kindle enthusiasm for academia and research. This is because academia belongs to our culture and can provide crucial help in finding answers to societal issues. How do we respond to climate change? How do we promote digital transformation at our schools? How do we maintain the cohesion of our aging society in a positive way? The university foundation funds many projects on these important topics that are run by academics at the University of Bremen.
