Since 2025 Jule Meyer is a PhD researcher in the project "Reconfiguring Europe", led by Professor Genschel (University Bremen) and Professor Jachtenfuchs (Hertie School of Governance). Her research focuses on EU joint procurement initiatives in the security, health and energy sector. Before that, she gained extensive experience in public sector consulting and international policy, working with KPMG’s Public Sector Consulting Team, BwConsulting — the in-house consultancy of the German Ministry of Defence — and as a Policy Analyst at Johnson & Johnson, where she specialized in international security.
She also contributed to high-level political initiatives as an intern at the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., supporting diplomatic events and policy briefings. Jule holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Hertie School, where she specialized in International Security, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from University College Maastricht.
