… ADE in brief – Welcome!
ADE is a specialist and counselling service that provides advice and support on issues relating to discrimination, conflicts and violence.
We are responsible for all students and employees of the University of Bremen, the central administration of the public service, as well as the universities and colleges in the state of Bremen (Hochschule Bremen, Bremen University of the Arts, and Hochschule Bremerhaven).
We offer free and confidential counselling to people affected by discrimination, conflicts or violence, as well as to their trusted persons, managers and staff representatives.

A reporting address has been set up as part of risk and threat management at the university!
The university management would like to gain a better picture of the security situation on campus, because if risks are identified early on, solutions can be found before anything happens. The focus is on vandalism, discriminatory graffiti, but also threatening behaviour and hostility.
For this reason, the reporting address riskprotect me ?!uni-bremenprotect me ?!.de has been set up as part of the university's risk and threat management system. If you notice anything, are concerned or feel unsafe, you can report it to this address.
This is primarily a reporting and mediation centre. This means that incoming reports are documented and, if necessary, forwarded to departments within and outside the university that will deal with the incident further. The documentation of the reports also provides us with an important tool for initiating appropriate measures in the affected areas or buildings in the event of repetitions or accumulations.
Not every problem can be solved. However, the aim is to reduce risks in the long term.
IMPORTANT: In the event of an acute threat, please contact the police directly on 110 and/or the emergency services on 112 – risk@ is NOT an emergency centre!
