Vorderseite ADE-Flyer

The ADE is a counselling office that offers counselling and information on how to deal with discrimination, conflicts, and violence at the study and workplace.

We are available for all students and employees of all public universities (University of Bremen, University of Applied Sciences Bremen, University of the Arts Bremen, University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven) and the core administration of the public service in the state of Bremen.

Our counseling is confidential and free of charge.

If you experience discrimination or are involved in a conflict at the work - or study place, please feel free to contact us. Our offer is also available for supervisors, lecturers, staff council and gender equality officers.

A reporting address has been set up as part of risk and threat management at the university!

The university management would like to gain a better picture of the security situation on campus, because if risks are identified early on, solutions can be found before anything happens. The focus is on vandalism, discriminatory graffiti, but also threatening behaviour and hostility.

For this reason, the reporting address riskprotect me ?!uni-bremenprotect me ?!.de has been set up as part of the university's risk and threat management system. If you notice anything, are concerned or feel unsafe, you can report it to this address.

This is primarily a reporting and mediation centre. This means that incoming reports are documented and, if necessary, forwarded to departments within and outside the university that will deal with the incident further. The documentation of the reports also provides us with an important tool for initiating appropriate measures in the affected areas or buildings in the event of repetitions or accumulations.

Not every problem can be solved. However, the aim is to reduce risks in the long term.

IMPORTANT: In the event of an acute threat, please contact the police directly on 110 and/or the emergency services on 112 – risk@ is NOT an emergency centre!

With kind regards - The University Management
