Better late than never, this is how we can describe our project leitmotif. Due to administrational issues, we were supposed to start later than initially planned with our project activities.
At the beginning of April, the complete SOHA team finally managed to meet virtually for a common kick-off. After having the opportunity getting to know each other a little bit, the project team discussed its schedule, possible changes and the first steps of project implementation. One important milestone is an expert workshop about “Assessing Solidarity” which will take place in September 2021. During this workshop we will discuss aspects of solidarity in transnational working relations with international experts from a theoretical and a practical perspective. This will result in a profound and comprehensive working definition of solidarity in transnational working relations which will then serve as our common basis for research. More information about the workshop will be published here in autumn 2021.
We even looked ahead to the end of our project to our then-planned stakeholder conference which will take place from 28th to 30th of September 2023 in the beautiful city of Cracow, Poland. We are all very much looking forward to this special event. But first we will get back from where we started and proceed with our schedule step by step.
