Following the successful kick-off workshop at INFORMATIK 2023, we continued to deepen the cross-regional networking of Data Science initiatives at this year's INFORMATIK Festival 2024 in Wiesbaden.

Following the theme "Lock-in or Log out? Achieving Digital Sovereignty" of this year's INFORMATIK Festival in Wiesbaden, the DSC held an interactive workshop on September 26th. The cross-regional talk invited guests from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to promote sustainable networking within the community and lay the foundation for future collaboration between the DSC and other data centers. Together, we discussed the opportunities and challenges of the digital age, setting the stage for joint reflection and the development of new initiatives.

The forum provided an interactive platform for exchanging activities, concepts, experiences, solutions, and best practices among the various initiatives.
