DSC Seed Grant
Financial support for your data science project: The Seed Grant supports pilot studies, networking formats, research projects, and more — with up to 2,500 Euros per applicant.

As part of the interdisciplinary data competence center for the Bremen region, the DSC is opening up its services to the region — researchers also benefit from additional services within the network.

The Data Science Center (DSC) brings together the data-related expertise and activities of the University of Bremen and develops them in a targeted manner. It promotes exchange between disciplines, strengthens the data literacy of researchers, and creates the conditions for sustainable, data-based research in all scientific fields.

As a central point of contact, the DSC offers comprehensive services related to data management and data science—and acts as a partner in data-based research projects.

Award of The First DSC Seed Grant

The first DSC Seed Grant funded the publication project "Data Privacy and Crowdsourcing: A Comparison of Selected Problems between China, Germany and the USA", which is to be published as a monograph later this year.
