Becoming Scholarship Holder
Dear students, dear prospective students,
the application period for the Deutschlandstipendium for the winter semester 2020/2021 has ended. All applicants will receive a response to their application by the end of November.
The University of Bremen will award about 100 scholarships within the framework of the Deutschlandstipendium for the winter semester 2021/2022. The amount of the scholarship is 300 Euro per month.
The application procedure for the winter semester 2021/2022 will take place in summer 2021. Please follow the instructions in the application agreement.
The Deutschlandstipendium is intended to support committed and qualified students who "have a great potential due to their previous commitment and career, taking into account social, family and personal circumstances, and who have already shown or have already provided outstanding achievements in their studies or professional life", Scholarship Regulations of the University of Bremen.
Those eligible to apply for a scholarship:
- Students of the University of Bremen, who are enrolled as regular students who are studying in the regular study period have an admission / enrollment confirmation for the admission of a Bachelor's, Master's degree or
- juridical state examination. (Study applicants may submit the admission or enrollment confirmation by October 15)
The scholarship is independent of BAföG or the income situation. Only students, who already receive a financial support for a talent or a performance dependent by a public or publicly supported institution in Germany or abroad in the amount of more than 30 Euro per month, are excluded from funding by the German fellowship.
In addition to the monthly scholarship of 300 Euros, the scholarship holders expect an attractive accompanying program. An active participation in the scholarship holder groups and interest in the exchange with the scholarship providers are expected.
