Faculty Council
The Faculty Council consists of representatives of the academic staff, students, administrative staff and technical staff of the faculty. The Faculty Council elects the Dean’s Office, the committees listed below and other faculty representatives. Furthermore, the Faculty Council decides on the allocation of faculty resources and fundamental issues relating to study and teaching.
Committee of Study Affairs
The Study Committee deals with matters directly relating to teaching and studies and is the body responsible for quality assurance in these areas. The Study Committee comprises members from the categories of university lecturers, research staff and students, who are elected by the Faculty Council.
Doctoral Committee
The Doctoral Committee is the central decision-making body for the organisation and all steps and matters relating to the proper conduct of the doctoral process.

Examination Board
The Examination Board for a degree programme is responsible for ensuring compliance with examination regulations and makes decisions on all examination matters.

Joint Decision-Making Committees (GbA)
Joint Decision-Making Committees exist for inter-departmental degree programmes; the GbA votes on matters of content, which are then decided upon in the department.
