Nomination of Candidates

The nominations for the elections to the Academic Senate and Faculty Councils 1 - 12 from 08 to 12 June 2026 are now available.

Following the releases on 19 May 2026 and 23 May 2026, an updated version dated 27 May 2026, is now available.

In accordance with § 11 para. 11 WO, objections to an election proposal / nomination can be raised in writing with the Returning Officer within three days of publication. The objection must be substantiated.

Extension of deadline and new nominations:

Faculty Council 08: For Faculty 08, the Election Commission has extended the deadline for submitting nominations until 22 May 2026 (3:00 p.m.), as there were not enough valid nominations by the end of the regular submission period. The nominations received by the new deadline were reviewed and approved by the Election Commission. The announcement of the nominations was updated accordingly on 23 May 2026.

Faculty Council 09: For Faculty 09, the Election Commission has extended the deadline for submitting nominations until 22 May 2026 (3:00 p.m.). The nomination received was reviewed and approved by the Election Commission. The announcement of the nominations was updated accordingly on 27 May 2026.

Faculty Council 12: For Faculty 12, the Election Commission has extended the deadline for submitting nominations until 22 May 2026 (3:00 p.m.), as there were not enough valid nominations by the end of the regular submission period. The nominations received by the new deadline were reviewed and approved by the Election Commission. The announcement of the nominations was updated accordingly on 23 May 2026.

The nominations for the Academic Senate and all other Faculties were published on 19 May 2026. The Returning Officer has not received any objections.
