Elections to Governing Bodies and Committees

The next committee elections will take place from 8 to 12 June 2026. In the summer semester of 2026, student representatives on the Academic Senate and on Faculty Councils 1 to 12 will be re-elected for the coming term of office. The term of office for students is one year. Representatives of the other status groups will remain in office until the summer semester of 2027.

Voter ID card

To cast their vote, eligible voters require a voter ID card: students may only vote using their student ID card. From the 2026 summer semester onwards, the University of Bremen will introduce the Campus App, through which the digital student ID card will be available both online and offline. Those who are unable or unwilling to use the app can apply for a replacement document for the digital student ID card via moin.
