Tugay is a student at the University of Bremen and works at the Green Office advocating a sustainable university. In an interview with the up2date online magazine, he talks about how the start was, what projects are in the pipeline, and what he would like to see in the future.

Making university life more sustainable – that is one of student Michel Thorin Joswig’s major concerns. He is involved in the “Bremen Goes Sustainable” project, in which students can get active. In an interview with the up2date online magazine, he explains why he does this and what the students have already achieved up2date.

Julia Broderius is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is an elected member of the student representation on the Commission for Sustainability, Climate Justice, and Climate Neutrality of the Academic Senate (AS). Dominik Lange is pursuing a master’s degree in Philosophy, is a speaker for higher education policy in the AStA student union, and a member of the AS. Both are members of Students for Future. Climate protection and sustainability are very important to them. In an interview with up2date, they give an assessment of the current state of sustainability issues at the University of Bremen.
