„I am an incredibly curious person, and I want to do my bit through my research to make educational research critical of racism.”

Education critical of racism? Oh, yes! That is Dennis Barasi's dream, which is why he decided to study to become a teacher at the University of Bremen with the subjects of mathematics and history. Dennis is currently working on his dissertation project, which focuses on racism-critical research into university teacher training. In addition, Dennis works as a research assistant at the University of Bremen in the field of intercultural education and gives numerous lectures on the topics of "Critique of racism in (high) schools" and "Political and ideological positioning in the migration society".

With his work, Dennis hopes to inspire his future teaching colleagues and to make the university a place critical of racism in 50 years' time, where all prospective students can realise their goals without barriers, as he did at the University of Bremen.
