Methods Day on Experimental Economics at BreLAB

On September 20, 2019, the methods day on the topic "Introduction to Experimental Economics" was held within the third INNcentive-Workshop. Invited lecturer of the methods day was Alexander Haering of the RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research Essen. The participants gained a theoretical and practical insight into experimental research in behavioural economics and discussed with the lecturer applied questions on their own research projects.

BreLAB is a scientific infrastructure of the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics of the University of Bremen. It offers IT equipment and services for laboratory-based research for members of the department and the university as well as for external researchers. The infrastructures - classical experimental laboratory and policy lab - can be used independently or in combination. The provision of both infrastructures under one roof is unique. This way, in addition to classical experiments, participatory research designs are possible.
