Dennis Niemann ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Post-Doc) in dem Forschungsprojekt „Die globale Entwicklungsdynamik von Inklusivität und Leistungsumfang staatlicher Bildung“ am Sonderforschungsbereich 1342 „Globale Entwicklungsdynamiken von Sozialpolitik“ sowie am Institut für Interkulturelle und Internationale Studien (InIIS) an der Universität Bremen. Er hat an der Universität Bremen in Politikwissenschaft promoviert. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen auf der Internationalisierung von Bildungspolitik, der Rolle von Internationalen Organisationen in Global-Governance-Prozessen und auf qualitativen Forschungsmethoden. Zahlreiche seiner Publikationen befassen sich mit dem Einfluss internationaler Organisationen auf die Politikgestaltung und den jüngsten Internationalisierungsprozessen im Bereich der Bildungspolitik.
