CV Charlotte Herzmann
Charlotte was born in Portland, Oregon (USA) in 1982 and finished her high school education in Bremen in 2002.
The same year she started studying psychology with majors in neuropsychology, organizational and clinical psychology. From September 2006 to April 2007 she conducted an internship at the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, in the language lab of Prof. Wexler.
In 2008 she received diploma degree with her thesis on the relation between Theory of Mind development and language acquisition.
Her major interest is the field of cognitive and developmental neuroscience, including the areas of social interaction, linguistics, and the question of free will.
Since September 2008 she is working as a Research Associate at the Department of Neuropsychology and Behavioral Neurobiology at the University of Bremen and additionally, she is preparing her dissertation.
