Assembly systems

The working group on assembly systems places particular emphasis on the role of humans in manual, hybrid and automated assembly processes. Its focus is on the design of human-machine interaction to ensure effective cooperation between humans and machines. Here, adaptive assembly strategies are developed that combine the strengths of the human workforce with the advantages of automation. The working group also takes into account training and education concepts to support employees in the use of the assembly systems. Through this human-centered approach, the working group aims to optimize working conditions and promote the acceptance of assembly automation, ultimately increasing the efficiency and quality of assembly processes.
