On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Diginomics doctoral student Theresa Kück presented her working paper "Initial Coin Offerings, Information Disclosure, and Fraud" at the European Alternative Finance Research Conference. The paper is co-authored with Lars Hornuf (also Diginomics) and Armin Schwienbacher from SKEMA Business School. The conference was organized by the European Centre for Alternative Finance (ECAF) at Utrecht University. The theme of this year's conference was "New forms of alternative finance for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises". Besides presentations on Initial Coin Offerings, papers on crowdfunding and FinTech topics were presented.
