Summer Holidays
In cooperation with the sports club 1860 e.V. the university offers a vacation care program for children between the ages of four and thirteen. During the school vacations in Bremen (except for the Christmas vacations), games, fun and exercise are the focus of the childcare concept every weekday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Bremen 1860 e.V. club.
Daily schedule:
- 8.00 a.m. Arrival (early and late services possible)
- Breakfast
- Sports/games/crafts
- Lunch in the club restaurant
- Games, sports, excursions, etc.
- 4.00 pm pick up time
130 Euro per week/child - children of students up to 4 weeks per year free of charge

This week we are going on an exploration tour in the city forest. We want to discover the forest with a magnifying glass and our senses, build huts, make things with natural materials, find out whether edible plants grow around us, explore which animals are still out and about with us in the forest and of course play a lot.

How do Native peoples really live? We will playfully explore the cultural techniques and lifestyles of primitive peoples. We will carve, make handicrafts, build everyday objects, jewelry and anything that can be used for living in the wilderness. We also want to make the KiWi adventure playground our home with lots of activities.

From 10 am to 2 pm / Knoopspark - Blindengarten
Five days in the forest to play, romp and discover. We play games with the animals that live in the forest. We collect nuts like squirrels, race like frogs, feel our way blindly along the path like a mole and discover how beetles live. With games, fun, stories and riddles, we explore the world of animals.

And the chickens are happy to have company
