    Political Theory at InIIS

Politics always means the simultaneity of processes of creating or instituting order and processes of questioning orders and institutions. This simultaneity has also become increasingly visible in international politics in recent decades.

Thus, the current development of world society is characterized by contradictions, conflicts, and the emergence of social movements that question the legitimacy and claims to power of the instances of governance themselves. For governance, whether national or global, is inevitably accompanied by the assertion of hegemonic formations of thought and the exercise of political power, which influence the chances of existence and development of societies, groups and individuals in an asymmetrical manner.
