WHY is the YUFE network developing a European University?

HERE’S WHY – European Universities are intended to drive a transformation in European higher education and be characterized by multilingual, innovative study programs. By creating a European University, we seek to support the idea of a united Europe and contribute to the development of a European higher-education area. YUFE is a network of young and innovative universities in Europe – ten universities partnering with four nonuniversity organizations to create a student-centric, open, and inclusive university for the future of Europe in the next few years. This alliance receives funding from the EU, DAAD, and state of Bremen.

WHY is there a bit of the University of Bremen at YUFE?

HERE’S WHY – The University of Bremen is young, innovative, and strong on research. We identify with the vision of a European university. With our YUFE partners, we are connected by institutional values and we pursue common goals: reconceptualizing and reshaping Europe’s higher-education landscape.
