Forschung

Mein Forschungsinteresse gilt im weitesten Sinne der ganzheitlichen Betrachtung der Rolle der Wechselwirkung zwischen Wasser und Gestein im System Erde unter Verwendung chemischer, biologischer, hydrogeologischer, mineralogischer, mathematischer, thermodynamischer und technischer Ansätze. Von besonderem Interesse sind:

  1. Quelle, Transport und Verbleib von potenziell giftigen Elementen in natürlichen und anthropogenen Systemen mit Schwerpunkt auf den Elementen Arsen, Molybdän, Cadmium und Quecksilber
  2. Entwicklung und Verbesserung von Analysemethoden in der Wasser- und Lithogeochemie
  3. Untersuchung von hydrothermalen Flachwassersystemen.
