Oma-Opa-Hilfsdienst in Bremen Mahndorf

For casual childcare jobs, the support of the grannies and grandpas from the Oma-Opa-Hilfsdienst can be booked against payment. Students have had good experiences with this service. This is what they say about themselves: “Our carers usually look after children from baby to school age for a maximum of two to three half days a week. In an emergency, we help as quickly as possible, if necessary, also without charge.”

The non-profit organisation PiB is Bremen’s centre for foster families, parents, and child day care. We are specialised in family-oriented childcare: we support and give advice to people who take care of children on a short or long term basis, and ensure that they are properly qualified. We are committed to working with children, foster parents, parents and with licensed day care mothers.

If you would like your child to attend child day care (Kindertagespflege), our team can offer advice and information. PiB – Pflegekinder in Bremen is the specialist service for child day care in the city of Bremen. We work on behalf of the Bremen Social Services, providing expert advice to parents about day care placements for children. PiB co-operates with more than 300 qualified licensed day care mothers in the Bremen area.
