Andres Barrero is a PhD fellow at InIIs. He is a scholarship holder from the DAAD -cohort 2021-. He has a M.Sc. in Politics, Economics, and Philosophy from Hamburg University (2015-2017), and an MA. In Philosophy from Universidad de la Salle (Bogotá Colombia). his undergrad studies were in Philosophy and history from Universidad de la Salle as well.  Previous research concerns the concept of Multiple Modernities in Habermas and Eisenstadt, the theory of Secularization and the Anthropotechnic perspective of Peter Sloterdijk, and the methodological discussions involving the Actor Network Theory from Bruno Latour.

 

Andres Barrero is currently working in the project “Critical Discourse Studies as Social Sciences: different layers of reflection around the implementation of quantitative text analytical tools” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Martin Nonhoff.
