Fabian Besche-Truthe
Fabian Besche-Truthe is a post-doctoral researcher in the project "The Global Dynamics of Coverage and Generosity in Public Education" in the Collaborative Research Center 1342 "Global Dynamics of Social Policy".
His doctoral dissertation at the University of Bremen is entitled: "Global Transformation of Education Systems. Investigating Domestic, Relational, and Transnational Levels of Policy Drivers." In this thesis, he develops a heuristic analytical framework for the study of policy diffusion. This framework is then tested on the example of different education policies.
In his current research, Fabian Besche-Truthe focuses on historical and global changes in access to education for marginalized groups. Furthermore, he develops innovative datasets to analyze policy diffusion and transfer.
Fabian Besche-Truthe is a Mittelbau representative in SFB 1342 and was or is active as a volunteer at KjG Diözesanverband Paderborn e.V. as well as at YES Innovation and Research e.V.
