Tim-Frederik Hahn

Tim-Frederik Hahn is a doctoral student at the University of Bremen. He is writing his dissertation on the geopolitical consequences of deep-sea mining and the tension between resource security and climate protection, with a particular focus on the European Union’s position. His research interests include European politics, the European Union’s strategic dependencies, and the governance of public goods.

As part of a dual master’s program, he earned a Master of Arts in Political Science from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a Master of Science in Political Science from Stockholm University. He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Bremen. During his studies, Tim-Frederik Hahn spent time abroad at the University of Bergen and Sciences Po Paris and was a scholarship recipient of the German National Academic Foundation.
