New publication in the Journal of Vocational Behavior

„Active learning, active shaping, or both? A cross-lagged panel analysis of reciprocal ef-fects between work design and informal workplace learning, and the mediating role of job crafting“

Do working conditions influence employees’ learning on the job, or do learning employees influence their own working conditions? Julian Decius (University of Bremen), Niclas Schaper (University of Paderborn), Katharina Klug and Andreas Seifert (University of Paderborn) investigated this question in their new article in the Journal of Vocational Behavior. In two studies, they tested reciprocal relationships between working conditions and informal workplace learning, as well as job crafting as an explanatory mechanism. Read the full article here. ​​
