Bachelor courses in Business Studies

The empirical internship prepares students for independent academic research. The focus is on the practical application and training of qualitative and quantitative research methods for data collection and analysis. In the winter semester, the course consists of a lecture on the fundamentals of good scientific practice and small-group exercises in qualitative and quantitative research methods. In the summer semester, students conduct independent empirical studies in small groups. In this way, they go through the entire research process, from developing a research question to design, data collection, analysis, and communication of results. The field of Business Psychology/Social Psychology is involved in the winter semester in the introduction to quantitative methods and in the summer semester in supervising the student research projects.
