Panel Discussion

Appointment procedures for professorships often seem like a black box.
We want to shed light on the situation: How does an appointment committee work? What are the dos and don'ts for applicants? How do the different parts of the hearing - the academic presentation, the demonstration lecture for students, the committee interview - work? What are the latest developments in the procedures? And what are appointment negotiations like?
We will discuss all these questions with our panel guests. We are also looking forward to learning about your experiences!

After the discussion, you will have the opportunity to chat with our panelists over drinks and snacks.
