The three-part lecture series organized by the Institute for Medieval and Early Modern Studies (IMFF) focuses on islands as places of the unfamiliar, the miraculous, and the dangerous. The lectures explore literary and cultural representations of islands from the Middle Ages to the early modern period and invite discussion on different perspectives.
