If you have general questions about studying, you can contact the Central Student Advisory Service (ZSB) or the study centers of the respective departments.

The Office for Students with Disabilities or Chronic Diseases (KIS) is a counseling service for students with visible or invisible physical or mental impairments. The counseling provided by KIS is confidential, independent, and free of charge.

The Administrative Unit - Equal Opportunities | Antidiscrimination (ADE) is a specialist counseling center that provides free and confidential advice on dealing with discrimination, conflicts, and violence.

The Family Care Office can help you with questions about pregnancy during your studies, childcare, and caring for relatives. You can find more information here.

Medical assistance is available around the clock throughout Germany free of charge by calling: 116 117.

If there is an acute danger and immediate action is required, you can request an ambulance via the police (telephone number 110) or the responsible fire department and rescue service control center (telephone number 112).

Bremen Telephone Counseling Service
The Telephone Counseling Service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the week throughout Germany at 0800 - 1110111 or 0800 - 1110222. Calls are anonymous, free of charge, and open to everyone. Social Psychiatric and Crisis Intervention Service Bremen:
On-site counseling services depend on where you live. Please contact the appropriate one of the five counseling centers of the Social Psychiatric Service (South, Central, West, East, North).
Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Crisis Intervention Service (KID) is available by telephone for emergencies on weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and on weekends and public holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: 0421 800582-33

Nachtwerk Bremen:
Nachtwerk offers immediate help for mental health crises and stressful situations.
Services include a crisis hotline (0421 957 00 310 / Mon–Fri from 9:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., Sat–Sun and public holidays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.), a night café (Helgolander Straße 73), and overnight accommodation in acute emergency situations.
