Accessing the E-Learning System “Stud.IP”
University of Bremen has an E-Learning system named Stud.IP where you will find the study material of the lectures you attend and many other information. Log in using the credentials you have received when enrolling and register for the lectures you wish to attend in order to get access to the lecture documentation. In the first place, register for the course “Information for the new CIT/CMM Master students” to get important organizational information.

Getting to the Campus
Most of the lectures in the CIT and CMM studies take place in the building "NW1", located at the address "Otto-Hahn-Allee 1". Furthermore, all electrical engineering departments are located in this building. Click here for a description how to get to the building by tram, train or from the airport.

Starting with the Lectures
Do not overdo things. You will need time to get your orientation concerning the organization of the studies and the facilities of the university. In the first semester, focus on the compulsory subjects as given in your study plan.

Things to do after arrival in Bremen
- Register as a citizen of Bremen at the public registration office. In case you live in another city, you have to register in the office of that city.
- Submit your application documents on paper to the Student Office if you have not posted them previously.
- Activate your health insurance policy in the office of the insurance you selected. Insurances which are popular among students have their offices in the campus, in the central building ("Glashalle").
- Activate your blocked bank account by visiting the office of the respective bank.
- Apply for your Student's Residence Permit at the Migration Office (Ausländerbehörde).
