Rainer Malaka
IFIP Fellow
Prof. Dr. Rainer Malaka is professor for Digital Media at the University of Bremen. He is Dean of Faculty 3 Mathematics and Computer Science and Director of the PhD program Empowering Digital Media that is funded by the Klaus Tschira foundation. He was member of a collaborative research center (CRC/SFB) on autonomous logistics and is member of the CEC/SFB EASE „Everyday Activity Science and Enginering“ at the University of Bremen as well as Speaker of Research Cluster 3: Human-Digital Interactions in Digital Public Health im Leibniz ScienceCampus Digital Public Health Bremen (LSC DiPH). Additionally he is IFIP Fellow, Vice Chair fo IFIP TC14 and IFIP Councillor & Board Member. His research focus is on multimodal interaction, language understanding, entertainment computing, and artificial interlligence.
