On May 15, 2020, the President of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, Frank Imhoff, opened the first constituent meeting of the Enquete Commission. It is the first commission of enquiry in Bremen. The 18 members (9 parliamentarians and 9 scientists) will develop strategies and measures over the next one and a half years to achieve the climate policy goals in the federal state of Bremen.
The upcoming sessions will deal with questions of structural change, transformation in energy supply, urban development, new mobility concepts, food and agriculture, as well as educational issues and social participation.
