Person

Since November 2022, Luis has been a guest researcher in the working group of Prof. Dr. Michael Rochlitz at the University of Bremen. Luis is a Ph.D. candidate in the Global Studies program at the University of Urbino in Italy. He previously studied Economics for his BSc at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and Economic Theory for his MSc at Istanbul University. Luis has developed a comprehensive understanding of innovation systems, multilevel modeling, statistics, and quantitative skills during his career. In the industry sector, he has experience in international logistics of imports and exports and organizing trade missions and B2B meetings. Recently, he has had a growing interest in different fields of data science, such as machine learning, text analysis, and data visualization. His research interest focuses on connecting the corporate digital divide and the transformation of innovation activities that have brought the digital economy to small and medium-sized firms.
