Since May 2019, Mareike zum Felde is a scientific employee and PhD Candidate in the working group of Prof. Dr. Jutta Günther at the University Bremen. Before she finished the Elite Graduate Program for East European Studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich with a major in comparative political systems (M.A. 2019). In her dissertation Mareike zum Felde deals with post socialist elites in Poland and a case study on debates about higher education policies since 1989. She is an active member of the German Association for East European Studies (DGO).
