Mariia Shkolnykova used the research stay to establish the research cooperation between the University of Bremen and Charles University and will deepen and continue this cooperation in the future. Thus, a joint paper on the structure and dynamics of specific innovation activities in Central European regions, planned during her research stay with the colleagues from Charles University, will be produced. The data for the study were processed during the research stay.

In addition, Mariia Shkolnykova gave a presentation on one of her current research papers on the topic "Assessing the importance of proximity dimensions for the diffusion of radical innovations in German biotechnology" at a research seminar of the department.

The research stay was financed by the funding line " Impulse Grants for Research Projects" from the Central Research Development Fund of the University of Bremen, for which Mariia Shkolnykova successfully applied on a competitive basis.
