The members of IERP participated at the “Digital Innovation and AI” workshop, which took place at UNU-MERIT (Maastricht, The Netherlands) on the 7th and 8th of June 2023. The workshop is the part of activities, conducted by the PhD and Research network “Economics of Innovation, AI & Data Science applications”. The network integrates partners from Université de Strasbourg (FR), UNU-Merit (NL), University of Aalborg (DK), University of Bremen (DE), and Copenhagen Business School (DK). The main purpose is to provide PhD students and researchers the possibility to discuss specific challenges, which inhibit their research progress.
The workshop “Digital Innovation and AI” contained the presentations of more than 20 researchers from China, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Diletta Abbonato, Jessica Birkholz, David Karpa, Matheus Leusin and Mariia Shkolnykova presented and discussed their research results. Björn Jindra, who is also one of the network founders, chaired two workshop sessions.
