The international workshop "New Wave of Migration in Response to the Full-Scale Russian Invasion in Ukraine. Social and economic consequences for Ukraine and EU countries" took place on 17-18 July at the University of Bremen in hybrid mode. More than 50 researchers participated in the workshop and discussed the issues related to the future development of the Ukrainian economy and the challenges and new opportunities for the host economies caused by the forced migration.

The workshop is part of the project "New wave of migration on the background of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, social and economic consequences for Ukraine and for Poland 2022: statistical analysis and prospects" [grant number 9C 007], supported by the Volkswagen Foundation.
