Our Service
Since as early as 2004, the ZMML supports all university teachers to conduct computer-based admission and placement tests, interim exams, mock exams and high stake exams efficiently, securely and validly, even with high student numbers. For on-site exams, the testcenter is available for e-exams and software- exams, among others. The competence area also offers online exams (e.g. online-open-book) and e-exams at other locations (e.g. exams of the Virtuelle Akademie Nachhaltigkeit).
Scope of Services
- Consulting, training and in-process support for exam didactics, organizational and technical issues
- Provision of the infrastructure required for respective form of examination
- Support for the technical design of examination tasks
- Consulting for the evaluation and interpretation of examination metrics (e.g. question statistics including difficulty level, discriminatory power and response analysis, analysis of areas of weakness, etc.)
